You might wonder why we have included political content on our site. We are mad as hell at the stupidity of our Government. Myself and many millions of others have been let down by our Government, and the elected officials in Congress. Barney Frank is the biggest single offender. We moved to Colorado from the Northern Virginia area, purchased a new home, in four and a half years watched the value of our home fall by nearly $70,000. This was caused by Congress writing laws to allow Sub-prime mortgages to be financed by people who could not afford them. When their adjustable rate mortgages interest rate increased, they defaulted on their loans in record numbers resulting in foreclosures that have caused everyone's property values to fall like a rock. This caused the banking crisis we are in today. Now President Obama and congress are trying to fix the mess they created in the first place. Their solution "A multibillion dollar Stimulus Bill" full of every congressman's pet PORK project that ever existed. Who pays for that: You guessed it the American Taxpayer. We have all just been screwed again. WE challenge each and every one of you whose property value has fallen to send your representative or senator in congress a bill for the exact amount that your property value has fallen. See how quick they start listening to WE the PEOPLE.
For many decades presidents have refused to enforce the existing laws on the books concerning immigration in this country. We don't need Immigration Reform, just enforce the existing laws. Congress stop trying to make things even more complicated than they are now. Secure our borders, stop the trafficing in illegal drugs, close the underground tunnels. Stop letting criminals and gangsters into this country who rape, murder and steal the identities of hard working American citizens. What is it about the word "ILLEGAL" they don't understand?
We want all of you to stop focusing on your reelection and do the job we want done, not the job you want done or the job your party wants done. You work for us and at this rate I guarantee you not for long because we are coming. We will be heard and we will be represented. You think we're so busy with our lives that we will never come for you? We are the formerly silent majority, all of us who quietly work, pay taxes, obey the law, vote, save money, keep our noses to the grindstone and we are now looking up at you. You have awakened us, the patriotic spirit so strong and so powerful that it had been sleeping too long. You have pushed us too far. Represent us or you will be replaced with someone who will.
After the oil embargo by Saudi Arabia in 1973 we were promised that never again would we be dependent on foreign oil. Subsequently the U.S. Department of Energy was created on 8-4-1977 supposedly to lessen our dependance on foreign oil. Now it's 2011, they have had 34 years to accomplish their mission. What have they acomplished...absolutely nothing! The budget for this so called necessary department is 24.2 Billion a year, has 16,000 federal employees & approximately 100,000 contractors. Just look at the job it has done; It has not created one BTU, kilowatt, or single drop of oil. The only energy produced by the Dept. of Energy is the rapid flow of taxpayer dollars! It is time to scrap this government agency that has not solve the problem. Maybe if we fire them all the cost of running the government would not be as big of a burden to we the taxpayers and would bring relief against attempts to raise the national debt ceiling.
The United States has more oil within its borders than all of the middle east combined. So why are we not drilling it?
The answer is because the environmentalists and our own government are blocking all efforts to help America become independent of foreign
oil. According to T. Boone Pickens, we imported 4.35 billion barrels of oil in 2009 at a cost of over half a million dollars per minute. That's another $265 BILLION siphoned out of America's struggling economy, and we still haven't adopted a real energy plan to reduce our dependence on foreign oil. Now, former Colorado Senator turned Interior Secretary Ken Salazar is formulating
new laws which will further restrict oil and gas development in the United States. Why is it that our own government does not seem to have any common sense?
Congress has had their head in the sand now for 38 years. What is it going to take for them to actually do something about it? We have had nothing but broken promises from several presidents who said they were going to fix the problem but never did. It's
time to hold Congress accountable for their inactions. I have personally written letters to both Senator Bennet and Udall, but all I get back are form letters that never address the questions asked. I have spoken to numerous other people who all have the same complaint about our two Colorado Senators. On the other hand we seem to have a brilliant shining star In our 4th Congressional District Representative Cory Gardner. See the videos below showing how Cory Gardner is challenging the EPA on their regulations effect on jobs and the cost of energy to farmers, which if enacted will increase the prices we would all have to pay for food.
Press release from Congressman Cory Gardner's website:
June 22, 2011
WASHINGTON DC - Rep. Gardner's (R-CO) bill to streamline drilling permits in Alaska's Outer Continental Shelf (OCS) passed the House by a vote of 253 to 166 with bipartisan support Wednesday.
"This bill doesn't just relate to Alaska - it has to do with every American who is forced to suffer high gas prices and who wants to see our nation weaned off Middle East oil. Exploration in Alaska will bring relief at the pump, take us one step closer toward energy independence and create tens of thousands of jobs in Alaska and the rest of the country."
Production in Alaska's OCS could produce 1 million barrels of oil a day – comparable to what the US currently imports from Saudi Arabia. Right now, however, companies that have paid billions of dollars for offshore oil and gas leases are being held up by regulatory confusion between the EPA and the bureaucratically created appeals board that reviews permits.
The Jobs and Energy Permitting Act, H.R. 2021, will simplify the process by taking the appeals board out of the equation. The EPA will be required to grant or deny permits within six months of the request.
A companion measure has been introduced in the Senate with a bipartisan list of cosponsors.
In a recent debate between the candidates for House District 50, incumbent Jim Riesberg, and Republican challenger Bob Boswell, Riesberg can't seem to get his facts right. He stated that more people are working here in the area than ever before. Just check out the "real facts" in the table below.
Greeley needs your help in providing the truth to the electorate in House district 50. The present office holder continues to lie regarding what is taking place here. I recently have started adding advertisements to my website with the hopes of generating additional revenue. While applying to be an Affiliate marketing partner with Amazon.com, I received a message in an e-mail form Amazon explaining that the law recently enacted by the Colorado legislature has forced them to withdraw affiliate marketing in Colorado. I brought this up at a Partners Colorado meeting in Greeley on Oct.13th stating that it was an extremely bad law and should be repealed. I stated at the meeting that this new state law (one of the dirty dozen) has cost the state more tax revenue than it was going to gain from the bill in the first place, while simultaneously damaging the revenue stream for many small Colorado businesses. The Greeley Tribune also wrote an article about this meeting, but failed to report my statment about HB 10-1193 in their article. See link to their article. State Representative Jim Riesberg also attended the meeting. After the meeting I asked Representative Riesberg what he is going to do to Repeal HB 10-1193. I recorded our conversation, in the conversation, he called Amazon a "Horses Ass". I think that term would better apply to the Democrats in the Colorado legislature responsible for passing this awful bill.
Download the Windows Media format audio recording here. Riesberg states the bill was amended to not include the affiliates but I have have yet to receive the written documentation I requested about the so called amendment. It has been over a week now and I still have not received information from Riesberg about those amendments he claims exist. Is this another on of your lies?
It was also ruled by the North Carolina Supreme Court that the similar law violates peoples right to privacy.
Our Colorado State Supreme Court is a total sham. Kangaroo courts are sham legal proceedings which are set-up in order to give the impression of a fair legal process. That is exactly what has been going on in Colorado's State Supreme Court. Their actions have been circumventing the Constitution they swore to uphold. They stole money from every citizen in Colorado. In order to raise taxes, they have to ask the people on a ballot to vote on raising taxes. So they decided that since they did not want to ask the people, they ruled that FEES are NOT TAXES, then imposed a multitude of new FEES on the population of Colorado. Did you all like paying an extra $32 FEE to register your car?
I talked to a small business person in Masonville, seems like this court is unfairly putting the financial squeeze on small businesses. They had to pay a $1,000 FEE to register their truck. They keep doing this, they will be no more small businesses left in Colorado. People will simple leave to go where small business are treated fairly and are encouraged to come. And they wonder why unemployment is rising.
